community history and digital storytelling
spanish version
tell your story and share your photos

We have had an extremely busy several months. Thank you! to the more than 75 people who took the time to share their stories and photos. And thank you to the team of volunteer interviewers. With over 100 hours of recorded memories, we had our work cut out for us as we prepared an exhibit to represent this collected story. The final product has four bilingual digital stories, seventeen panels of text and photos in English, and seventeen in Spanish.
The exhibit was held at the following locations:

February 28 – March 31
Hart Memorial Central Library
211 E. Dakin Ave.
Kissimmee, FL 34741
Opening Program:  Saturday, February 28, 2009, 2-4 pm
March 1 – April 18
Winter Park Public Library
460 E. New England Ave.
Winter Park, FL 32789
Opening Program:  Sunday, March 1, 2009, 2-4 pm

The recordings in their entirety and the collected documents and photos will be archived at the Orange County Regional History Center, 65 E. Central Blvd., Orlando, FL 32801.
The exhibit was presented again in September and October 2009 at the Orange County Public Library at 101 E. Central Blvd. in downtown Orlando.
