Did you know that Puerto Rican musician Roy Brown was born in Orlando in 1945? Or that the 1960 census shows 390 people either born in Puerto Rico or of Puerto Rican parentage living in Orange County? In Kissimmee, in Orlando, in Deltona, in Sanford, and elsewhere live people whose roots are in Puerto Rico and whose lives have been in Central Florida for 50 to even 60 years. This is a story waiting to be told.
